Browser add-on for Chrome

Meeting notes that write themselves, without a bot.

Join the meeting in your browser and press Record on the tab. A minute or two after you stop, the notes are ready: every sentence with speaker names, the decisions, who does what, and the follow-up email.

  • No bot joins your call
  • 5 free transcripts per UTC calendar month
  • 11 languages, detected for you

How it works

  1. 1

    Join from your browser

Open the Zoom, Google Meet or Teams invite in Chrome. The add-on hears a browser tab, so no bot joins and nobody new appears in the call.

  2. 2

    Press Record on the tab

Switch on your microphone so your own voice is in the notes too, and paste the ready notice into the chat so everyone knows.

  3. 3

    Stop, and read the notes

A minute or two later you have the full text with names, the summary with decisions and tasks, and a follow-up email written for you.

What you get

Decisions and tasks

The summary pulls out the decisions and who does what, by when – ready to paste into your tracker.

Every voice, named

Each voice gets its own label. Name them once and the whole text updates.

The follow-up email

A short email with the outcomes, written for you to send to everyone in the meeting.

A link for the team

Share the notes with a link that opens without an account, and switch it off whenever you want.

Find any meeting again

Every word from every meeting, in one search box.

Good to know

  • Works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams – join the meeting from your browser in Chrome.
  • Tell everyone in the call that you are recording. TranscribeLab gives you a ready message for the chat.
  • The notes are written after the meeting: they are ready a minute or two after you press Stop.
  • A free recording can be up to 30 minutes long. On Pro one recording can be up to 3 hours.

Questions

Does a bot join my meeting?

No. You record your own browser tab, so the people in the meeting see nobody new.

Do the notes include my own voice?

Yes. Switch on your microphone in the add-on and your voice is recorded together with the call.

What do the notes contain?

The full transcript with speaker names and times, a summary with the decisions and tasks, and a follow-up email draft.

Can I get notes for a meeting I already have as a file?

Yes. Upload the recording as a file and you get the same text, names and summary.

Which languages does it understand?

11 languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and Arabic. The language is detected for you, and the summary can be written in any of them.
