1. Who we are

TranscribeLab is made by MB Makery, company code 307770736, V. Nagevičiaus g. 3, LT-08237 Vilnius, Lithuania (support@developers911.com). By installing the add-on or using the website you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. What TranscribeLab does

TranscribeLab turns sound into text: a browser tab you record (for example a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call in the browser), a YouTube video, or an audio or video file you upload. You get the text with speaker names and time stamps, a summary, answers to your questions, search, share links and exports.

Speech recognition and AI summaries can make mistakes. Check names, numbers and decisions before you rely on them.

3. Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your e-mail. Keep access to that e-mail address; anyone who can read it can sign in. An account is for one person. You may use the first free transcript without an account; after that we ask you to sign in.

4. Recording other people

You must tell everyone you record that you are recording, and get their agreement where the law requires it (in some countries and US states everyone must agree). Do not record where recording is not allowed. You are responsible for the recordings you make and the files you upload. We may suspend an account that is used to record people unlawfully.

5. Your content

Your recordings, transcripts and summaries belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to give you the service. We do not use them to train AI. When you create a share link, anyone who has the link can read that summary and transcript until you turn the link off.

6. Fair use

• Do not upload or record content you have no right to use, or anything illegal.
• Do not try to get around the limits of your plan, overload the service or resell it.
• Do not use TranscribeLab to watch or record people secretly.

7. Plans, payments and cancelling

• Free: 3 transcripts in total, each up to 30 minutes, and 3 YouTube videos a day.
• Pro yearly: $49 a year, with 3 free days for people who have never had a free trial. Cancel before the free days end and you pay nothing.
• Pro monthly: $8.85 a month, charged from the first day, with no free trial.
• Pro includes 15 hours of transcription a month and files of up to 3 hours. Hours are counted per calendar month and do not roll over.

Payments are handled by Stripe through Link, Stripe's checkout, which sells Pro to you as the seller of record, adds the tax that applies where you live and sends your receipts. Your card statement shows LINK.COM. Link's own purchase terms also apply to the payment.

Pro renews automatically at the end of each year or month until you cancel. Cancel any time on the Account page ("Manage or cancel") or at link.com. After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us within 14 days and we will put it right. If you are a consumer, you also keep every right your local law gives you.

8. Changes to the service

We improve TranscribeLab all the time and may change or remove features. We will tell you by e-mail before a change that makes your paid plan worse, and you may then cancel.

9. Responsibility

We work hard to keep TranscribeLab running and your data safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business or lost profit, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Ending

You may stop at any time and delete your account on the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if it is a paid account and we close it without a serious reason, we refund the unused part.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live and may go to its courts.
